It appears Google+ has opened it's doors to teens and I must admit I'm a little mixed up when it comes to how I feel about this.
On the one hand it will allow whole families onto the network and allow a more cohesive sharing paradigm. On the other you only have to look at failbook to see what can happen and the kind of content Google+ will be subjected to.
Then there is the predator question!
I would like to see filters. When I post something that is public and should probably carry an R rating or NSFW, then filters should kick in much like safe search that would prevent it coming up in the stream of a minor. I have no control over who follows me and the majority of my posts are public, I don't want to change my sharing model, but at the same time understand that with that kind of power comes responsibility. Given the choice I would mute my posts, though I would rather have Google empower me by giving me the tools with which to target my public posts at either over-18 or all.
Just my 2 cents.
